A Great and very quiet park & sleep spot. We arrived in a storm. Shop is excellent lots of local produce and delicacies. Restroom is spotlessly clean. There is an oil drilling and research museum attached. Sleepy little beach side hamlet. Probably busy in high season. We visited in low season. Excellent supermarket one block back nestled within the houses. Great choice of the essentials.

Nice spot to get a small bite to eat and rest. Beautiful view of the sea. 屋台 sells seafood串 and some beef/chicken串.There is also a restaurant on the second floor.The pier is a great place for pictures, but this is Niigata. Remember that it does get windy here.

I stopped by after lunch. It was an ordinary beautiful beach with no sunset. I saw a small fish from the bridge. There was a delicious rice cracker at Michi no Eki here, and I bought 4 types and it was a big bag, so it was full of suitcases. It's cheap.

Local accessories, children's old toys, bags and paper balloons are sold on the first floor. Izumozaki accounts for 90% of the production volume of paper balloons nationwide.
